This is an older (1955) Catholic school World History textbook written by Monsignor Goebel and Father Quigley, both of whom were professional life-long Catholic educators. The study will start with the early civilizations, travel through the Greek and Roman Empires, through the years of early exploration, ending in the Protestant Rebellion of the sixteenth century. The students will learn about some of the glories of the Catholic Church, its heartaches and setbacks, and its glorious martyrs and defenders of the Faith.
